Uses
- A soft superabsorbent dressing that consists of 4 layers combining a soft viscose outer layer and an absorbent core made of crystals that absorbs and retains exudate
Positives
- Can absorb large amounts of exudate
- Wicks away fluid so there is no peri-wound skin maceration
- Can be used under compression
Limitations
- It bulges as more and more fluid is absorbed and therefore can alter pressures on wound areas if tight dressings are used on top of the the zetuvit
