Minimise skin stripping when the PICC dressing is changed

Aim of Dressing

Apply a film over the skin stripped area to support its regeneration whilst allowing the semipermeable membrane dressing to stick to the skin.

Remove PICC Dressing

Remove PICC dressing as per your local clinical business rule

Apply Barrier film

Once the skin around the insertion site is clean apply by wiping or squeezing the barrier film applicator over the area and spreading the liquid around. Await for it to dry.
