To allow for secondary intention healing to occur and to stop an abscess forming

Aim of Dressing

The aquacel ribbon will wick away an exudate and create a moist wound healing and the biatain will allow for showering and ADLs to continue whilst healing occurs

Please always probe with a soft tip wound probe to have a starting depth

Using a wound probe slowly feed the aquacel ribbon into the wound. If too narrow you can halve the width of the ribbon.
