Patient has IAD

Patient has been incontinent and some erythema has become present around the anus, sacral or even the upper thighs.

Step 1

Clean the affected area

Thoroughly clean the affected area. This could mean a shower, bed bath with some pH neutral soap or soap free wash

Apply Comfort Barrier wipes

Apply Sage Molicare Skin Barrier Cream

Step 3

Repeat

After each bout of incontinence clean the area again. This could just be using warm clothes with a small amount of soap and dried thoroughly.
