Treatment Goals

To minimise bulk to the patient's foot allowing him to use his modified shoes. This dressing is only really temporary as he would need to see a podiatrist straight away.

Aim of Dressing

Reduce pressure on the diabetic ulcer whilst awaiting a podiatrist review.

Place a single layer of the tule onto the wound bed. DO NOT double layer the Tul

Apply biatain non-adhesive

No not use biatain adhesive super as this can roll up when they put their shoes on
