Treatment Goals

To maintain skin integrity by not disturbing the devitalised epithelial cells (greying skin areas within the cellulitis). This will reduce the likely hood of infection occuring by maintaining skin integrity and allow the antibiotics to work.

Aim of Dressing

Maintain skin integrity using non-adhesive dressing.

Setup sterile field

Use ANTT to unpack your sterile field and your STERILE products

Clean the legs (Gently)

Gently clean the legs by dabbing and now agitating the fragile epithelial cells

Wrap the legs

Wrap the legs in jelonet. You can put the jelonet on the healthy tissue

Wrap the legs #2

Wrap the legs with Zetuvit, cotton bandage and crepe.
