Care Plans
Aterial Ulcer - not actively bleeding
After an angioplasty +/- stent or ballooning has occurred enough blood flow to the ulcerated area is being supplied to allow healing to occur. Usually the surgeons will debride at the time of the angioplasty. To start active wound care treatment on a patient with arterial insufficiency is in many cases not realistic.
