Uses
- Patient’s who have or at high risk of having a pressure injury on their heels
Positives
- Conforms to the heel relatively well

Limitations
- Does not self adhere
- It does not fit all heels well
- Does not allow for shoes to be worn with them on leading to an increase falls risks with patient’s with cognition impairment
Precautions
- The dressing itself can not adhere itself to the heel which requires adhesives like tapes and/or cotton bandages and crepes to be used. This can cause skin tears where the skin integrity is already at risk.
